Bodhi Manda Zen Center

The Bodhi Manda Zen Center, founded in 1973, is a Myoshin-ji Rinzai Zen Buddhist center in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, in the United States. It was once part of a Catholic monastery, but has been converted to suit Buddhist monastic practices.
While the Bodhi Manda Zen Center is Japanese in origin, led by Kyozan Joshu Sasaki Roshi, all of its members are English-speaking. Formal training is offered in the spring and fall.
The Zen Center also has several hot springs which are open to the public during certain times of the year.
The name 'Bodhi Manda' means the same thing as 'Bodhi Mandala,' which the center was once called, and roughly translates to 'sacred space' or 'the place of awakening.'
